Dante Enage

Dante Enage is a visual artist from Tacloban City, Leyte. known for works that blend cultural identity—like Pintados and Baybayin motifs—with environmental themes. He rose to prominence in 2013 after winning 1st Place at the Philippine Visual Arts Festival for his piece Paint Not Bomb. His art has been exhibited both locally and internationally, including in Malaysia, Italy, France, and Dubai. He was named Sangyaw Awardee for Visual Art in 2017 and was recognized by Greenpeace as a climate “artivist.” Dante is also a GSIS National Art Competition awardee in 2022,
2023, and 2025. He founded Kolor Banwa, a Tacloban-based group that nurtures and promotes Waraynon artists.
