A multi-disciplinary artist and an advertising graduate from the first batch of alumni of CFAD (formerly CAFA). Although an advertising arts major, his love for painting started when he was in college where he became an active member and officer of the Gintong Su-Si (Suri at Sining) Art Organization a brainchild of Rev. Fr. Isidro Abaño, O.P, former regent of CFAD and Abe Orobia. Juert Asejo’s style is inspired by the expressionist fauvism movement. He depicts his nudes with
energetic and bold strokes using both pastel and vibrant colors to stir sentiments of spirituality and eroticism at the same time. For him the human body is a great portrait of human emotions. He is a National finalist in the prestigious MADE competition.
