Florentino “Jun” G. Impas Jr. (born in Danao City, Cebu, and raised in Surigao City) is a Filipino visual artist celebrated for his realistic portraits, depictions of human figures, and scenes from Philippine culture and everyday life. Largely self-taught in his early years, he discovered his talent while working as a poster and billboard painter in a local cinema. He later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Painting from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
Now in his 50s, Jun resides in Gaas, Balamban, Cebu, where he operates his own Art Space, which includes a gallery, studio, paint bar, and café. His art has been exhibited in numerous local, national, and international shows, including exhibitions in Vatican (Italy), Chicago, and New York. He has received multiple awards, completed many commissioned portraits, and served as president of Cebu Artists Inc. (CAI) and the Portrait Artists Society of the Philippines.
He is also currently part of the Durian Collective. Impas continues to advocate for Filipino art by bridging art and tourism, promoting culture, and encouraging public appreciation of the arts.
